2. Uploaded documents
Documents you upload are processed solely to create the table template (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and are deleted automatically after one hour. Content is not read, not logged and not passed on to third parties. Where the documents contain personal data of your clients, we process it as a processor on the basis of a data processing agreement.
3. Free use without an account
To enforce the free quota of 7 documents per month per internet connection, we store for each document created for free an encrypted key value (HMAC) of your IP address – for IPv6 of the /64 network – which changes every month. The IP address itself is not stored; the key value is deleted at the end of the month. In addition, the website sets a technically necessary cookie so that only your browser can open your uploaded documents (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR; § 25(2) TDDDG).
3a. User account
For the account we store email address, name and company (optional), the password only as a secure hash (scrypt), plan, language, time of the last sign-in and the number of documents processed per month – without file names or content (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For confirmation and password emails we use Zoho Mail (Zoho Corporation, Pleasanton, USA). Your email address and the content of the email are transferred to the USA; the transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR), which are part of our data processing agreement with Zoho. You can delete your account yourself at any time under “Account”.
4. Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Payment data is processed directly by Stripe; we do not receive full card or account details.
5. Hosting
The website and the processing run on servers of netcup GmbH (Karlsruhe) in Germany.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies for signing in and for your uploads. There is no tracking.
