What makes this document tricky?
The old paper tazkira is a form with many fields, frames, stamps and handwritten entries in Dari or Pashto, often on yellowed paper. The newer e-tazkira is a card with fields on both sides. Both run from right to left.
Tips for a good result
- Switch on mirroring: the fields then follow left-to-right reading order in the translation.
- Lay folded paper tazkiras flat and photograph them from above.
- For the e-tazkira, put front and back into one PDF.
